Grey Lite Theatre presents
"Run for Your Wife" By Ray Cooney Directed by Pat Arthur Cast of "Run for Your Wife"
FROM THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR Thank you to the Board Members of The Grey Lite Theatre and especially to the cast and crew of Run for Your Wife. This has been a special production since, with one exception, this cast is made up of people whom I have never had the opportunity with which to work. That means my list of good actors continues to grow and I have found new friends. That makes the long rehearsals on very cold nights all worth while. I sincerely appreciate the hard work and effort that makes us all look good on stage. PAT ARTHUR, Director CAST TAD ATKINSON (Det. Sgt. Troughton): Tad was last seen by Grey Lite audience as the drunken David Benjamin in God's Favorite. He continues to work on his Ph.D. while teaching composition at Ivy Tech College. He accuses director Pat Arthur of type-casting since he appeared as a police sergeant in her last production of It Runs In The Family. SCOTT NEDBERG (Stanley Gardner): This is Scott's second appearance on the Grey Lite stage. In fact, it's Scott's second appearance on any stage. Since having been affectionately bitten by the "acting" bug, Scott will be appearing in Singles Without Sex Club at the Indiana Community Theatre League Excerpt Festival in March. He is Director of Operations for Custom Tube Company in Ft. Wayne and proudly proclaims the most recent award in his life is Madison Micheal, his first grandchild. BEN KIZER (Det. Sgt. Porterhouse): Ben lives in Bluffton with his wife Pam. He has appeared at the Pulse Opera House, Warren, Indiana, in Something's Afoot, Dirty Work at the Crossroads, and Harvey. LANCE CORDILL (Bobby Franklyn): This is Lance's first appearance for Grey Lite, but certainly not his first on stage. Lance appeared in the Civic Theatre production of Man of La Mancha and Inherit The Wind. A former U.S. Marine, he is currently a salesman for Trade Secrets Exchange and a model for the Marsha Talent Agency. SIMONE RUNYAN (Mary Smith): Simone is a theatre major at Indiana-Purdue Ft. Wayne. She was last seen in the PIT production of A Flea in Her Ear. In her spare time Simone enjoys reading travel magazines and lip synching showtunes sung by Patti LuPone. She thanks the cast for all the dinners and kisses. VIRGINIA BADOUR (Barbara Smith): This will be Virginia's first appearance on Grey Lite's stage. She has appeared at First Presbyterian Theatre in Blythe Spirit and most recently as Sylvia Plath in Encore Productions' Letters Home at the Ft. Wayne Museum of Art. Virginia moved to Ft. Wayne with her husband Ron and their touring company, Encore Productions in 1993. Virginia appears as a guest artist from Encore Productions. RON BADOUR (John Smith): Ron was last seen at The Grey Lite Theatre as Bottom in Midsummers Night Dream. A twenty-three year veteran of theatre, he has held positions from grip to designer to theatre manager. His favorites are directing, premiering characters in original plays and putting large sets into small places. CAST OF CHARACTERS
