Nelson WHO'S WHO IN "HERE'S LOVE" Mimi Atkinson (BALLOON VENDOR / MRS. FINFER)-Mimi is hooked on theater and fears that she is turning into a "ham" in her later years. She has appeared in several productions at Grey Lite, including The Music Man, It's A Wonderful Life, and Sound of Music. Caryl Ball (Judge M. Group)-Caryl has appeared in several productions at Grey Lite Theatre, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the Black Forest, Guys and Dolls, and Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain. She's very active behind the scenes too. When not involved with the theatre, she is busy working as a resource teacher at South Wayne Elementary and being a mom. Many thanks to Meredith, Mike, Jill and Steve for putting up with my theater time. Meredith Ball (HENRIKA)-Meredith is a seventh grader at Memorial Park Middle School. She has appeared in several Grey Lite productions, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the Black Forest,Guys and Dolls, and Secret Garden. She also worked as stage crew on Sound of Music at Grey Lite and appeared as the teacher in a student written and produced play. Michael Ball (THE KID)- Michael is a fourth grader at Weisser Park Elementary, where he plays the trumpet. He appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the Black Forest at Grey Lite Ian Belknap (TOMMY MARA, JR.)-This is Ian's fifth show at Grey Lite. He has also appeared at the Civic, and Youtheatre and just finished Damn Yankees at Memorial Park Middle School. Ian thanks his mom, dad and all of his friends, especially Jonny Noble and Zach Miller, for being able to talk to about stuff. Carol D. Castleman (HENRIKA'S MOTHER)-Carol is making her debut at Grey Lite with this production. She has appeared in Inherit The Wind as Mrs. Loomis, and Comedy of Errors as a townsperson at Civic Theatre. Carol is excited to be cast as a little girl's mother since she has a delinquent son at home. Terry Castleman (GIMBEL)- Terry, a 17 year old junior at Norwell High School, has appeared in a number of productions at Youtheatre including The Wizard of Oz, The Boy Who Talked To Whales, and Rags To Riches. In addition, he has performed in Civic's Comedy of Errors, The Skin of Our Teeth, and Inherit The Wind .He also appeared in Arena's Of Thee I Sing and IPFW's Hello Dolly. Scott Cooper (HARRY FINFER)-Scott, a freshman at Homestead High School, has been in several plays. He appeared as the prodigal son in the play, The Prodigal Son at his church and as a festival dancer in The Sound Of Music at Grey Lite. He has also competed in various singing competitions and talent shows. Stephanie Cooper (SUSAN)-Stephanie, an eleven-year-old sixth grader at Woodside Middle School, enjoys singing, acting, piano playing and some sports. She was in The Sound of Music at Grey Lite and is very excited about playing the part of Susan in Here's Love. She looks forward to working with Mrs. David and Ms. Nelson once again. Lindsay Anne Cross (GIRL SCOUT)-Lindsay has participated in Ward Elementary's "Shades of Friendship" for two years and Storybook Theater for three years. She appeared in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at Grey Lite Theatre. She was also in Snow White and Rumpelstiltskin at First Presbyterian. |

Geoff Durant (PARADE)- Geoff, a seventh grader at Memorial Park Middle School, got his start in theatre at Grey Lite in Music Man and since then has appeared in Pippin at PIT, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Civic. He also appeared in Oliver at Center Stage, Young Laura Ingalls Wilder for Youtheatre, Snow White at First Presbyterian, Music Man at Memorial Park Middle School, and Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe be at Grey Lite. Geoff plays the trombone and guitar and has a brown belt in karate. Jon Durant (PARADE) -Jon, a fifth grader at Ward Elementary, is a member of Ward's "Shades of Friendship" Show Choir. He has appeared in Music Man and Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe at Grey Lite Theatre, as well as Oliver at Center Stage and Snow White for First Presbyterian theater. Jon is also involved in diving and soccer. Nan Durant (MRS. SAWYER)- Nan has appeared with Grey Lite as Mrs. Beaver in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and Sister Berta in The Sound of Music. She was last seen as Betty Meeks in The Foreigner at First Presbyterian. Nan enjoys character roles, although she wouldn't mind a role closer to her own "self" once in a while. She is a case manager for Child Protective Services and is also a gymnastic judge. G. J. Gevaart (BAILIFF)-G.J. is a seventh grader at Memorial Park Middle School. He is a hockey player at Fort Wayne Youth Hockey. G.J. was a member of "Shades of Friendship" Show Choir and Storybook Theatre while at Ward Elementary. This is his debut at Grey Lite Theatre. Neely Gevaart (TROUBLED TYPE)-Neely is a fifth grader at Ward Theatre Arts School. She appeared on Grey Lite's stage as "Brigitta" in The Sound of Music. Most recently, Neely performed in Civic Theatre's Comedy of Errors, and is active in Ward's "Shades of Friendship" Show Choir and Storybook Theatre, a traveling troupe. Jessica Autumn Justice (CLARA / MAYOR)-Jessica first grace the stage as a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. She continued her participation in the Leo Drama Club with Peter Pan, Murder at Coppersmith Inn, Oklahoma! and Into The Woods. After graduation this spring, Jessica plans to attend college, majoring in journalism and political science. Ben Kizer (KRIS KRINGLE)-Ben lives in Bluffton with his wife Pam where they collect Christmas decorations and take care of their spoiled parakeet, Baskerville. He previously appeared in Grey Lite's Run For Your Wife and First Presbyterian's The Foreigner here in Fort Wayne. Ben has also appeared in several productions at the Pulse Opera House in Warren, Indiana, including Something's Afoot, Dirty Work At The Crossroads, and Harvey. Jeff Kreischer (MARVIN SHELLHAMMER)-Jeff is a 17 year old senior at Leo High School where he is a four-year member of the Leo "Live Rhythm". He has appeared in The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Oklahoma, Into the Woods and Murder at Coopersmith Inn. Kenny McKee (PARADE)-Kenny is making his stage debut in Here's Love. He is a kindergartner at Weisser Park Elementary and enjoys acting and pretending. Vickie Monce-Evans (MISS CROOKSHANK / TAMANY O'HALLERAN)-Vickie is a graduate of Paul Harding High School. She is married to Gregory and has spent the last nine years living near Indianapolis. Vickie has been active with the traveling gospel group "Instruments of Worship" and the adult show choir "Celebration Singers" . She is currently living out her dream of being a choir director and musical minister at her church. She recently became office manager of SANYU USA. Vickie was last seen in Grey Lite's Christmas Past, Present, and Future. She is extremely happy to be back home in Fort Wayne and back on stage! Scott Nedberg (FRED GAILY)-Scott is returning to Grey Lite's stage for another "fun packed" season. Last season, he appeared as Dan in Four Plays, Stanley Gardner in Run for Your Wife, and Capt. Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. In addition to these Grey Lite productions, Scott appeared as Charlie Baker in First Presbyterian's The Foreigner. Scott has just finished the production of Play It Again, Sam at Grey Lite. He is currently Director of Operations at Custom Tube Co. in Fort Wayne. His love for theatre is only surpassed by his love for his daughter, Erin, his son, Mike, his granddaughter Maddy, and "Toad". Sara North (PARADE PARTICIPANT)-Sara is a fourth grader at Ward Elementary. She is a member of the "Shades of Friendship" Swing Choir and the Storybook Theater troupe. Jennifer Poiry Beatty (DORIS WALKER)-Jennifer has appeared many times on Grey Lite's stage, including Rose in Secret Garden, Rose in God's Favorite, Mary in It's a Wonderful Life, and as Maria in The Sound of Music. She was most recently in Play It Again, Sam at Grey Lite. She works as a temporary at Norwest Bank. Her loves include music, theatre and "Frog". Art Ruddle (THOMAS MARA, SR.)-Art, as the D.A., is appearing in his second Grey Lite Theatre production this year. He previously portrayed the "polished" butler, Franz, in The Sound of Music. Some of his favorite past performances have been in Don't Drink the Water, The Fantasticks, Diary of Anne Frank, Arsenic and Old Lace, and The Ninety Day Mistress. Katie Sanserino (MISS SIMS)-Katie is an eighth grader at Memorial Park Middle School. She has recently been involved in Inherit the Wind at the Civic and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Youtheatre. She has also appeared in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs in the Black Forest at Grey Lite as well as a number of productions at MPMS. Katie is active on the speech team, newspaper and Show Choir. Kent Uhen (MACY)-This is Kent's third play in his acting career. He caught the acting bug when he appeared Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs in the Black Forest at Grey Lite Theatre. He was in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at the Civic last summer. Kent was also an extra in the movie, In the Company Of Men shot here in Fort Wayne. Ryan Weaver (MAILMAN)- Ryan is a 13 year old eighth grader at Summit Middle School. His favorite hobbies are acting, playing guitar and singing. He is one of the local Fort Wayne Imitators. Ryan was in The Sound Of Music at Grey Lite and is looking forward to working with Ms. Nelson and Mrs. David once more. |

RONA GRAHAM (MRS. FITZGERALD) Rona is a senior at South Side High School where she has been seen in several musicals including The King and I, West Side Story, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is also active in Drama Club, Spanish Club, and the Hospitality Crew. Rona knows first hand about large families because she is the oldest of nine children. Rona plans to attend college at Taylor or Huntington where she'll major in counseling. LAURA FURIAK- (MISS BRILL) is a veteran to the stage, but a first timer with the Grey Lite Players. In the past, she has worked in such shows as Evita, Roar of the Greasepaint; Smell of the Crowd, Rise and Shine, and her favorite role as Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday. While working on her degree at Ball State, Laura was active with the Ball State Dance Theatre and the Banevolks fold dance troupe. Laura and her husband Nick are both teachers in Fort Wayne. Laura teaches Math and Dance at South Side High School, and Nick teaches Math and Physics at Canterbury High School. Laura, who is originally from Shelbyville, IN, has enjoyed her experience with the Grey Lite Players, and she hopes to continue her involvement in community theatre in Fort Wayne. JAN HAWORTH (MRS. GILBRETH) Jan was last seen as Cassie Cooper in Grey Lite's production of Rumors. She was also seen as the Vicar's wife in last year's Murder at the Vicarage. Jan teaches aerobics for Schering-Plough Health Care Products. She is also proud to say that Jacy really is her daughter, but will gladly claim the other young actors as her own also! SARA KABISCH (ANNE) Sara is a senior at South Side High School. She has performed in many of their productions including The King and I, West Side Story, Up the Down Staircase, and this year Fame and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Sara has also performed with the Fort Wayne Ballet in "Nutcracker." She does not have set plans for after high school, but wants to continue with drama. TYLER PARKISON (FRED GILBRETH) Tyler has enjoyed his first production on Grey Lite's stage, but he is not a newcomer to the stage having been in several church and school plays. Tyler is a fifth grader at Canterbury School. He enjoys watching and participating in all sports. RON RUPER (DOCTOR) Ron moved to Fort Wayne fourteen months ago with his wife and two daughters from West Virginia. Cheaper By the Dozen is the first production he has been in since he moved to Fort Wayne, but he appeared in several productions in Erie, PA; Akron OH; and Cleveland, OH. Ron's favorite role was that of Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey. LLOYD SHAFFER (MR. GILBRETH) Lloyd last performed in a high school play thirty years ago, and decided to read for "Dad" when his two sons auditioned for Cheaper By the Dozen. He has been a sale and marketing executive, which involves a lot of acting at times! His sons say that Dad is just right for the role of "Dad." MYLES SHAFFER (JOE SCALES) Myles has been seen in Pinnocchio and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, Myles enjoys playing soccer and basketball. He attends Blackhawk Christian School, where he is an eighth grader. JOHN SHEPPARD (DAN GILBRETH) Most of John's theatre work has been done backstage working with sound effects until now. He enjoys playing basketball and baseball, and was in the freshman football team at North Side High School where is a freshman. MAX SHEPPARD (JACKIE GILBRETH) Max last helped Grey Lite Players last February when he worked lights for the production of Rumors. He has enjoyed working on the stage for a change. Max is a sixth grader at Memorial Park Middle School. ALAN SHAFFER (FRANK GILBRETH) Alan,a senior at Canterbury High School, has been active in drama throughout his high school career, including the musicals Bye, Bye Birdie and Fiddler on the Roof. He has also performed in Fame and Whose Life Is It Anyway? ,and has been involved in the Youtheatre Production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Alan enjoys photography and playing basketball. He is planning to attend college next year. JOSHUA WILHELM (BILL GILBRETH) Joshua is making his debut on the Grey Lite stage as Bill. He has been seen in The Music Man as Winthrop Parou and The Bible Tells Me So Show where he played Contestant #2· HEATHER WITTHOUSE (MARTHA GILBRETH) Heather is making her debut to the Grey Lite Stage, but by no means to the stage. Heather has been seen in many Youtheatre productions including The Boyhhood of Knute Rockne, Snow White, The Wizard of Oz, Pinnochio, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Heather has appeared in Enchanted Hills production of Oliver! as well as many commercials. MUSICAL NUMBERS
